What You’ll Do:
As a User Interface Design Intern at Mapable, you will play a critical role in creating intuitive, user-friendly designs that enhance the user experience. Your work will directly impact how people with accessibility needs interact with and benefit from our app.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the product and development teams to conceptualize and implement design solutions.

Create visually appealing, accessible UI components for our mobile app and website.

Design interactive and engaging map interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Develop prototypes and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.

Incorporate user feedback and data-driven insights into iterative design improvements.

Maintain brand consistency across all design elements.

Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
Qualifications:

Proven experience in UI design, preferably for mobile applications.

Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Strong understanding of UX principles and accessibility best practices.

Experience designing for diverse user groups, including people with disabilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI design projects.
